Sara Bertram shows two of her pieces with her mentor Jamaliah Morais. Sara worked on The Four Gentlemen, also called the Four Noble Ones, referring to four plants: the orchid, the bamboo, the chrysanthemum, and the plum blossom. The series using Japanese calligraphy forms the basis for all Asian brush strokes.
