The Walt Whitman Middle School community celebrated the diversity at the school with an annual International Festival on April 6.

The evening event was held in the school’s cafeteria and included food, performances, crafts and other activities. All families were encouraged to bring traditional food, or come to the free festival wearing traditional clothing that represents their culture or ethnicity.

Students were eligible for community service hours if they brought food to share or gave a performance.
