The following incidents were reported by the Mount Vernon Police District Station.
ROBBERY, 5900 block of Richmond Highway, July 26, 3:35 a.m. A passenger brandished a handgun and took cash from a taxi cab driver. The victim was not injured. The suspect is described as male, black, 18 to 25 years old.
BURGLARY, 8100 block of Richmond Highway, July 26. An employee reported someone entered the business and took property.
PEEPING, 7900 block of Janna Lee Avenue, July 27, 10:03 p.m. Officers responded to the report of a man looking into a window. Following a search of the area, a 21-year old man from Alexandria was charged with peeping.
BURGLARY, 8700 block of Richmond Highway, July 24. An employee reported someone entered the business and took property.
